Womankind Young Professionals Board
Mission
The Womankind Young Professionals Board (YPB) exists to support the mission of Womankind and to further generate awareness, education, and advocacy for the causes Womankind serves. Specifically, YPB aims to:
- Create meaningful engagement on the issues that Womankind champions
- Inspire a network of professionals to learn, act, give, and serve in support of Womankind’s causes
- Support long-term efforts to increase awareness and fundraising for Womankind
Responsibilities
- Become an informed advocate for the mission of Womankind
- Attend and actively engage in at least 9 monthly meetings, including the annual planning meeting
- Bring your own ideas to the table to help YPB, Womankind staff, or survivors (clients)
- Help put on YPB-hosted events by assisting with planning, preparation, advertising, and volunteering
