Hello, we're so glad you're here.

For over forty years, Womankind has uplifted survivors of gender-based violence to rise above trauma. We have stood in solidarity with our community—from decades-long direct social services for survivors to the most recent Women’s Marches, and movements like #MeToo and #TimesUp, but we believe there is more to do.

Increased attention on the impact of violence on women and children along with the support of community members have kept us marching forward. But with rapid and unsettling changes in government policies, we are facing a time of unprecedented urgency. Our movement against violence needs more support from people like you—individuals who care enough to engage, do something good, and actively participate in rising above violence.

So join us in our fight against violence by becoming a Champion for Womankind. Help grow our circle of allies. Womankind Champions support us in various ways. They help us raise awareness, build radical empathy, generate sustainable support—all to empower survivors. We believe in building community and movement. We believe in seizing the moment—and the moment is NOW.
This is OUR time.
Time to TAKE A STAND with survivors
Time to effect change through ACTION
Time to be FIERCE
Time to be CHAMPIONS

What is a Womankind Champion?

It's someone who embodies radical empathy, is unafraid, and helps to empower survivors to rise above violence. Champions will join Womankind in thought-provoking conversations and bold dialogue, building consciousness and collective power. In the words of Yuri Kochiyama, Japanese American human rights activist:
Help us build that world. Join us as we make history. Become a Champion for Womankind today (and get a thank you gift)!
