Associate, Quality Improvement, Client Services (Part-Time)

Reports to: Manager, Quality Improvement

Womankind uses the multidimensionality of our Asian heritage to work alongside survivors of gender-based violence as they build a path to healing. We are working tirelessly to create a future where we Rise Above Violence and our communities can innovate towards collective well-being, restoration, and social justice. In addition to promoting healing and safety through service provision, Womankind promotes gender justice through research, coalition building, policy analysis, and community education and mobilization.

The Associate, Quality Improvement is a part-time position within Womankind that plays a crucial role in moving our mission forward. This position will support the Manager, Quality Improvement in managing Womankind’s database and generating statistical reports for various grants, funders, proposals, and strategic analysis. Our Quality Improvement programming, which is a recent addition to our Client Service Department, seeks to build metrics and analytics within the department to support work that is happening across all programming. It is a program that will seek to enhance the quality of our programming to clients overall.

This role’s effectiveness is tied into supporting and collaborating with other programs within Womankind in making sure their reporting needs are met, and thus allowing the agency to secure funding resources to continue serving survivors of gender-based-violence. This role also supports the Manager, Quality Improvement on key projects that enhances the quality of various programming across all Client Services. This projects can shift and change depending on the need of the department.

Essential Functions:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Primarily handle the generation and submission of different types of data reports for funders using our primary client database, Phoenix
  • Respond to data request tickets submitted by staff across programs and departments to increase understanding of our client base
  • Develop analytics for raw data reports
  • Assist in streamlining reporting procedures to increase efficiency, accuracy, and decrease the time it takes to generate each report
  • Assist in fine-tuning current analytics that exists within the program (i.e. Can one data report support multiple needs across programs and departments)
  • Participate in evaluating, learning, and understanding the data needs of our organization and clients so that client services, outreach efforts, and program development can be strengthened
  • Perform other duties that support the Manager, Quality Improvement as requested (e.g. data clean up and modules development/testing)
  • Other duties as assigned by the CPO/CEO

Organizational Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with program team to build collaborative work environment
  • Engage in outreach activities, at minimum 2 times a year to support spreading the work about Womankind’s work

Qualifications:

  • Deep commitment to Womankind’s mission
  • Knowledge with Salesforce and Report Builder
  • Experience working with databases
  • Experience in generating reports for non-for-profit agencies
  • Experience in navigating reporting requirements by government and private grants and funders
  • Experience in documenting reporting procedures
  • Expertise in MS Excel is necessary (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, macros)
  • Creative thinker, self-starter personality, highly preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-level results
  • Ability to exhibit a personal responsibility and commitment to work, follow-through and accountability
  • Ability to problem solve and exhibit a positive attitude while dealing with challenges
  • Cultural sensitivity a must
  • Humility and openness in approach to the work
  • Comfort and familiarity with computers, e-mail, and word processing
  • Survivors of gender-based violence encouraged to apply

Compensation Package:

Womankind offers a competitive and outstanding compensation package. Salary will be commensurate with experience, skill set, education, and other criteria. Annual salary range for this position is between $42,000.00 and $46,000.00.
