31 Daily Self-Care Ideas

Womankind staff works with survivors of gender-based violence everyday. This work of helping them heal from their trauma to build a path to healing can affect our overall well-being. This May, Womankind’s Self-Care Month, we are encouraging all staff (and you!) to take the time to experiment and find new ways to engage in self-care. The goal of this month is to enhance our individual and collective mindfulness. It is a time to explore how we currently take time for ourselves, explore new ways of taking care of ourselves, and perhaps push ourselves to do things we have been putting off. Womankind shares these ideas with you, and hope you will try as many as you can.
